A refugee myself, I’m well versed in the U.S. immigration process. I became interested in immigration law while pursuing my J.D. I did a lot of translation work and saw the need in the community. In addition to English, I also speak Spanish, Russian, and Ukrainian, allowing me to better serve a broad spectrum of clients.

Alexis Duecker is a dedicated immigration attorney with a deep commitment to serving immigrants and asylum seekers. Alexis' passion for immigration law was sparked during law school through an impactful internship with the Refugee Resettlement department at Lutheran Children and Family Services, where she worked with newly admitted refugees in Philadelphia.
