What the consultation includes
Before the meeting, our intake team confirms the appointment, your preferred language, the meeting format, and any basic documents the attorney wants available. Please do not send identity documents or detailed confidential records through an ordinary website form.
During the meeting, the attorney asks about your immigration and personal history, reviews the documents you were asked to bring, identifies questions that may affect the analysis, and explains what can and cannot be concluded from the information available that day.
The consultation may cover possible next steps, important risks, records that still need to be obtained, and whether AG Law Firm may be able to offer representation. Every matter is different. The meeting does not guarantee eligibility, representation, a filing, or a particular result.
What it costs
The consultation is one hour with an attorney, by video or in person at our New Brunswick office. The fee is $300, payable when you book and non-refundable once booked. The secure scheduler lets you choose the meeting format before confirming.
If you cannot use the scheduler or need a disability or language accommodation, call our office before booking. Our team can explain the available scheduling options. The consultation fee covers the consultation itself; it is not a retainer for ongoing representation unless a later written agreement expressly says otherwise.
What happens next
After you book, you receive a confirmation with the date, time, and meeting instructions. Follow the confirmation carefully and bring only the documents requested. If an interpreter or another communication accommodation is needed, tell our team as early as possible.
After the consultation, the attorney may recommend more fact-gathering, explain a possible legal service, refer you elsewhere, or tell you that the firm cannot evaluate the matter further. If the firm offers representation, the scope, fee, and responsibilities will be explained in a separate written agreement. No attorney-client relationship begins merely because you booked or attended a consultation.
